Abstract
Djeca s posebnim potrebama obuhvaćaju različite skupine učenika koji se razlikuju od prosječne populacije u različitim aspektima, uključujući senzorne, komunikacijske sposobnosti i intelektualne sposobnosti, socijalno ponašanje i tjelesne karakteristike. Iako je evolucija u razumijevanju tih potreba dovela do promjena u pristupima obrazovanju, još uvijek postoje izazovi u pružanju adekvatne podrške svakom djetetu. Individualizirani pristupi, prilagođeni programi i posebni programi igraju ključnu ulogu u obrazovanju djece s posebnim potrebama, omogućujući prilagodbu nastavnih planova i materijala prema potrebama i sposobnostima svakog učenika. Inkluzija se ističe kao napredniji pristup, promičući jednakost, podršku i stvaranje novih ideja. Učitelji imaju važnu ulogu u podršci darovitim učenicima kroz različite pristupe poput akceleracije i obogaćenja programa. Art terapija također nudi korisne alate za komunikaciju i podršku emocionalnom razvoju djece s posebnim potrebama. Suradnja s roditeljima ključna je za uspješan razvoj djeteta, dok kreativnost i podrška raznolikosti doprinose stvaranju inkluzivnog okruženja u obrazovanju.
Abstract (english)
Children with special needs encompass various groups of students who differ from the average population in different aspects, including sensory abilities, communication skills, intellectual abilities, social behaviors, and physical characteristics. Even though the evolution in understanding these needs has led to changes in educational approaches, there are still challenges in providing adequate support to each child. Individualized approaches, and adapted programs, as well as special programs, play a crucial role in the education of children with special needs, allowing for the adjustment of curricula and materials according to the needs and abilities of each student. Inclusion stands out as a more advanced approach, promoting equality, support, and the creation of new ideas. Teachers play an important role in supporting gifted students through various approaches, such as acceleration and enrichment programs. Art therapy also offers useful tools for communication and support for the emotional development of children with special needs. Collaboration with parents is crucial for the successful development of the child, while creativity and support for diversity contribute to creating an inclusive environment in education.
