Abstract
Naslov rada “Auto-destruktivna umjetnost” proizašao je iz moje želje da na vizualni način prikažem ideju o samospoznaji i samopoboljšanju. Cilj je, također, kroz moju kritiku “toksičnih navika”, potaknuti promatrača na introspektivno razmišljanje kako bi pri tome bolje upoznao i samoga sebe. Izrađen u tehnici cijanotipije, svojim dimenzijama, visinom od 80 cm, a dužinom od 250 cm, rad okupira pažnu promatrača. Uz glavne segmente na zidu, postavljeni su također i klasteri, sačinjenih od manjih iteracija, koji se šire od glavnih segmenata. Na taj način se krši klasičan način promatranja, pri čemu sama kompozicija nameće “aktivni” način gledanja. Prostorija u kojoj je rad izložen postaje instalacijska soba.
Abstract (english)
The title of the work "Auto-Destructive Art" came from my desire to present the idea of self-knowledge and self-improvement in a visual way. The goal is also, through my criticism of "toxic habits", to encourage the observer to think introspectively, in order to get to know himself better. Made in the cyanotype technique, its dimensions, height of 80 cm and length of 250 cm, occupy the attention of the observer. Along with the main segments on the wall, there are also clusters, made up of smaller iterations that expand from the main segments. In this way, the classical way of viewing is violated, whereby the composition itself imposes an "active" way of viewing. The room where the work is exhibited becomes the installation room.
