Abstract
U uvodnom i povijesnom djelu pisanog rada opisana su djela poznatih umjetnika od Jan Van Eycka do Francisa Bacona na temu autoportreta, s namjerom boljeg shvaćanja načina njihove izvedbe i samih motiva zbog kojih se umjetnici odlučuju za takav podhvat. Također se spominju izvori inspiracije u području ilustracije, plakat Alphonsa Muche i ilustrativne skice za film ''Spirited Away'' umjetnika Hayao Miyazakija. Drugi dio rada objašnjava i analizira samostalnu izradu djela na temu autoportreta, te se bavi mojim promišljanjima kroz cijelokupan proces završnoga rada.
Abstract (english)
The introductory and historical parts of the paper describe the works of famous artists from Jan Van Eyck to Francis Bacon on the subject of self-portraits, with the intention of better understanding the manner of their performance and the motives for which artists choose to undertake such an endeavor. Also mentioned are sources of inspiration in the field of illustration, a poster by Alphons Mucha and illustrative sketches for the movie ''Spirited Away'' by artist Hayao Miyazaki. The second part of the paper explains and analyzes the self-drafting work on the subject of self-portraits, and deals with my reflections throughout the entire process of the final work.
