Abstract
Odnosi s javnošću relativno su nova znanost iako njezini korijeni po nekim mišljenjima sežu u daleku prošlost. Najpriznatije je razumijevanje odnosa s javnošću da upravljaju komunikacijom između organizacije i njezinih javnosti. Prisutne su brojne metode i tehnike kojima se stručnjaci u odnosima s javnošću služe kako bi organizacija dobila pozitivan dojam kod ciljane javnosti. Film i filmska industrija nastaju gotovo simultano. Čovjeku nije dugo trebalo da shvati kako unovčiti novi izum filma te pokrenuti čitavu industriju s istim. Hollywood je vodeća filmska industrija. SAD je koristio filmove u svrhu nametanja novih vrijednosti i javnog mnijenja. Odnosi s javnošću u filmskoj industriji česta su stvar. Njihova je uloga u glavnini promovirati i film predstaviti što većem broju ljudi. Cilj je postići veliki publicitet. Primjer dobrog i uspješnog PR-a (engl. public relations) serija je filmova „Deadpool“. Marketing i PR tim na tom su se filmu koristili brojnim metodama kojima su proširili glas o filmu na globalnoj razini koristeći se tehnikama poput newsjackinga i zaposjedanja popularne kulture.
Abstract (english)
Public Relations is a relatively new field of science, although some opinions suggest its roots date back to ancient times. The most recognized understanding of Public Relations is that they manage communication between an organization and its public. Numerous methods and techniques are employed by PR professionals to create a positive impression of the organization among its target audience. The film and movie industry emerged almost simultaneously. It didn't take long for humans to realize how to monetize the new invention of film and kickstart an entire industry with it. Hollywood is the leading film industry, and the United States has used films to impose new values and shape public opinion.Public Relations in the film industry are common practice. Their main role is to promote and present the film to as many people as possible, aiming to achieve significant publicity. An example of effective and successful PR is the "Deadpool" film series. The marketing and PR team for that film employed numerous methods to spread the word about the movie globally, using techniques such as newsjacking and infiltrating popular culture.
