Abstract
Rad pod nazivom “Estetika smrti” sačinjen je od dva elementa koji svojim spajanjem imaju u cilju prikazivanje smrti kao estetski privlačne. Prikaz kostiju koje direktno upućuju na smrt su “uljepšane” kroz proces kristalizacije. Unutar razrade teme ovog djela, razotkrivena je ona smrt koja je u kapitalističkom društvu uvelike marginalizirana, a to je smrt za koju je odgovorna velika većina društva. Srž ove teme se ne nalazi u domeni veganske radikalnosti niti ikakve vrste duhovnosti, nego govori o specifičnoj odgovornosti ubijanja koju ljudi većinom ne prihvaćaju. Mnogi od nas su revoltirani tradicionalnim činom klanja životinja, ne shvaćajući pritom da iste stvari stoje iza svakog našeg obroka. Razrada ove teme posvećena je pogledu na smrt kao nešto čemu moramo posvetiti više poštovanja kako bi znali njenu pravu težinu te pritom ne osuđivati ni okretati glavu od iste.
Abstract (english)
The work entitled "Aesthetics of Death" is composed of two elements which, by their merging, aim to present death as aesthetically appealing. The depiction of bones that directly point to death is "beautified" through the process of crystallization. Within the elaboration of the theme of this work, the death that is largely marginalized in capitalist society is revealed, and that is death for which the vast majority of society is responsible. The core of this topic is not in the domain of vegan radicalism or any kind of spirituality, but speaks to the specific responsibility of killing that people mostly do not accept. Many of us are revolted by the traditional act of slaughtering animals, not realizing that the same things are behind each of their meals. The elaboration of this topic is dedicated to the view of death as something to which we must pay more respect in order to know its true weight, without condemning or turning our heads away from it.
