Abstract
Rad „Ex machina“ objekt je koji kroz elemente interaktivnosti, multimedije i performansa propituje alternativu u odnosu na društvo sukoba. Svojim izgledom imitira kombinaciju dvaju izrazito razornih vatrenih oružja: Gatlingove strojnice i M134. Ukazuje na potrebu prevladavanja oružanih sukoba transformacijom razorne snage oružja u pozitivnu ekstazu kroz glazbu i pokret. Budući da „Ex machina“ vizualno nalikuje oružju, njegova uloga nije potaknuti strah, nego degradirati i ismijavati oružje. Iz tog razloga stroj neće pucati metke, nego projicirati svjetlost, puštati glazbu i potaknuti ljude na ples. Dio rada uključuje performans u kojem se predstavljam kao šaman koji se bori protiv zla. Kroz „pucanje“ glazbe i ritmičnu izmjenu svjetlosnih efekata potičem posjetitelje na ples i ekstazu, a budući da glazba, ples i pokret terapeutski utječu na ljude, ovaj objekt koji širi radost, svojevrstan je medij koji omogućava takav proces.
Abstract (english)
The work "Ex machina" is an object that, through the elements of interactivity, multimedia and performance, questions the alternative of conflict in society. Its appearance mimics a combination of two extremely destructive firearms: the Gatling machine gun and the M134. It points to the need to overcome armed conflict by transforming the destructive power of weapons into positive ecstasy through music and movement. Because "Ex machina" visually resembles a weapon, its role is not to incite fear, but to degrade and ridicule weapons. For this reason, the machine will not shoot bullets, but project light, play music and encourage people to dance. Part of the work includes a performance in which I present myself as a shaman fighting evil. Through the "shooting" of music and the rhythmic change of light effects, I encourage visitors to dance and feel euphoria. Since music, dance and movement have a therapeutic effect on people, this object, that spreads joy, is a kind of medium that enables such process.
