Abstract
Glazbene sposobnosti predstavljaju sveukupnost urođenih struktura, formalnih i neformalnih glazbenih iskustava, te kada govorimo o njihovoj strukturi razlikujemo dva stajališta: elementarističko i unitarističko. Iako rođenjem nasljeđujemo određene predispozicije za razvoj glazbenih sposobnosti, od velikog je značaja za razvoj sposobnosti vlastita aktivnost i zainteresiranost prema njima, kao i okruženje u kojemu odrastamo. Kako bismo znali do kojeg stupnja su razvijene naše glazbene sposobnosti, potrebno je provesti testiranje, što je moguće putem različitih glazbenih testova koji se dijele na testove muzikalnosti, testove znanja i vještina, testove izvedbe te na testove ukusa, procjena i stavova. Za ispitivanje glazbenih sposobnosti kod djece u dobi 7 - 14 godina u radu se oslanjamo na test glazbenih sposobnosti Arnolda Bentleya „Mjere glazbenih sposobnosti“ putem kojega se ispituju četiri glazbene sposobnosti, a to su razlikovanje visine tona, pamćenje melodije, analiza akorda i pamćenje ritma.
Abstract (english)
Musical abilities represent the totality of innate structures, formal and informal musical experiences, and when we talk about their structure, we distinguish two points of view: elementarist and unitarian. Although we inherit certain predispositions for the development of musical abilities by birth, our own activity and interest in them, as well as the environment in which we grow up are of great importance for the development the abilities. In order to know to what extent our musical abilities have been developed, it is necessary to test them as much as possible through various musical tests which are divided into tests of musicality, tests of knowledge and skills, performance tests and tests of taste, evaluation and attitudes. To test musical abilities in children aged 7-14, we rely on the Arnold Bentley Musical Abilities Test "Measures of Musical Abilities", which tests four musical abilities, namely Pitch Discrimination, Tonal Memory, Chord Analysis and Rhythmic Memory.
