Abstract
Ovaj rad analizira ulogu festivala i manifestacija na turističku ponudu, njihov utjecaj i značenja za razvoj turizma i na turističke ponude. Iz tog razloga, istraženo je koje su najznačajnije manifestacije na području Slavonije, kada se održavaju, koliki utjecaj imaju na turizam i turističku ponudu kontinentalnih gradova, kao i na razvoj brenda i imidža kontinentalnih turističkih destinacija. Također je analizirano kako gradovi prihvaćaju i prilagođavaju se kulturnim događanjima i manifestacijama. U tu svrhu, analizirana je regija Slavonija iako nije veliki turistički centar poput priobalnih destinacija. Kao primjer razvijenog imidža grada i imidža festivala analizira se grad Valpovo i festival Ljeto Valpovačko. Naime, Valpovo, iako malen grad, može se pohvaliti festivalima i manifestacijama tijekom cijele godine, što zasigurno utječe na njegovu atraktivnost kao turističke destinacije. Također u radu se analiziraju kultura i tradicija regije te kako se one danas manifestiraju i prezentiraju.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyzes the role of the festival and manifestations in tourist offers, their impact and importance for the development of tourism and on touristic offers. Therefore, it was explored which are major manifestations in Slavonia, when are they held, how much influence they have on tourism and tourist offers of the continental cities, as well the development of the brand and image of continental touristic destinations are explored and how the towns accept and adopt to cultural events and manifestations. For this purpose, the region of Slavonia was analyzed, although it is not a largetouristcenter, such as coastal destinations. As an example of developed image of the city and the festival the city of Valpovo and the festival Valpovo Summer were analysed. Valpovo, although the small city, can boast with festivals and events through out theyear, which certainly influences its attractiveness as a tourist destination. As well, the paper analyses the regional culture and tradition and how they manifest themselves today.
