Knit, my soul, a love song" is a play that was born as a graduate exam in puppetry at graduate study Theatre arts; Acting and puppetry. The inspiration that served to create this story was sevdalinka, the sevdah song. This play is a set of stories spoken in the language of puppetry, theatre in general. The most dominant subject of this story is a thread of wool through which the actors of this play express their feelings and experience their play. The threads are used as puppets but also as the way of animation of certain objects. Creating an atmosphere is one of the most important components in the process of creating and making a final product using visual, audio and olfactory and gustative means. Music is a constant part of the play and is performed live, so we can say that the dramaturgy of music itself is also the dramaturgy of the play. This performance is a combination of the acting and puppetry world providing a unique learning experience in creation, as acting and puppetry complement each other and provide this fantasy together. The performance ends with stories and fellowship of all of us, including the audience, creating a unique experience of feelings. “Knit, my soul, a love song” is a play that in our way through language of music, acting and puppetry speaks of all of us, the stories that surround us, the pain that is within us.
