Abstract
Posljednjih godina brojka ljudi koji rade kao projektni menadžeri samo raste, a smatra se da ih ima preko 16,5 milijuna. Industrije koje se najčešće spominju u kontekstu projektnog menadžmenta su telekomunikacije, građevinarstvo, IT industrija, farmaceutska industrija, prodaja i proizvodnja te one zahtijevaju određen broj projektnih menadžera. Rezultat projekta treba biti nov proizvod, izmijenjen proizvod, rješenje ili usluga. Mnogi očekuju da će projekti donijeti vrijednost, ali praksa je ipak drugačija i ponekad projekti podbace. Razlog leži u njihovom upravljanju, a uspješno upravljanje projektima vrlo je važno za ukupno poslovanje neke organizacije. U radu je poseban osvrt na kontroling kao projektnu fazu koja prati projekt od početka do kraja te ulogu kontrolinga u realiziranju uspjeha. Glavna svrha kontrolinga je stručna potpora menadžmentu poduzeća koja se odvija primjenjujući razne metode i tehnike radi ostvarivanja uspjeha u poslovanju.
Abstract (english)
In recent years the number of people working as project managers has only been growing and it is belived that there are over 16.5 milion of them. The industries that are most often mentioned in the context of project management are telecommunications, constructions, IT industry, pharmaceutical industry, sales, productions and they require a certain number of project managers.The result of the project should be a new product, modified product, solution of service. Many expect that projects will bring value but the practice is different and sometimes projects fail. The reason lies in their management and successful projects managament is very important for the overall business of an organization. In the paper there is a specialrewiev of controlling as a projects phase that follows the project from beginning to end an the role of controlling in realizationof success. The main purpose of controlling is professional support for company management, which takes place by aplying various methods and techniques in order to achieve success in business.
