Abstract
Stalnim napredovanjem i razvojem tehnologija zahvaća sve veći dio naše svakodnevnice i uvodi značajne promjene u stvaranju čovjekovih navika i potreba. Medijska i vizualna pismenost također su „pogođene“ razvojem informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije te je vrlo važno odrediti njihova značenja, primjenu i svrhu u digitalnom dobu kako bi njihova funkcija mogla pridonijeti daljnjem širenju vidika i obrazovanja. U ovome radu bit će prikazana odrednica medijske i vizualne pismenosti, zatim njihov značaj i utjecaj na promjene u društvu digitalnog doba. Dodatno će biti pojašnjena metodologija koja je korištena prilikom izrade rada te dobiveni rezultati kako bi se što jasnije odredio značaj medijske i vizualne pismenosti u digitalnom dobu.
Abstract (english)
Due to the constant progress and further development, the technology experiences its peak every day. As such, it encompasses a large part of our day-to-day life and leads to significant changes in the development of our habits. Media literacy and visual literacy are also 'affected' by their development and it is very important to know and determine their meaning, application and purpose in the digital age, so that their function can contribute to further broadening of horizons and education. This article clearly defines the definition of media and visual literacy, then discusses what importance or changes we see through them in society and how the digital age is affecting them. In addition, the methodology used in the creation of the work and the results obtained are clarified in order to identify as clearly as possible the importance of media and image literacy in the digital age.
