Abstract
Diplomski rad ,,Generacija XY The Millennials“ bavi se istraživanjem generacija i problematikom pojedinca u svom vremenu. Preispitujem razliku između dviju generacija X i Y, te što je utjecalo na njih. U radu spominjem određene umjetnike s kojima se poistovjećujem i koje sam izdvojila radi njihove specifičnosti motiva i tema, a to je ljudska figura kao motiv u temama svakodnevnog života. Prikazi emocija, autoironije i humora služe za bolje upoznavanje, te preispitivanje samog umjetničkog rada koji nas približuje i upoznaje sa umjetnikom. U formalnom pogledu, rad se sastoji od 32 ilustrativnih grafika. Vizualni doživljaj, koji je prenesen putem grafičke tehnike dubokog tiska, bakropisa, koji mi omogućuje čiste, jednostavne, ravne linije koje se ukazuju na bijeloj podlozi crnom bojom. Serija radova prikazuje scene svakodnevnog života generacija X i Y gdje se dobra većina međusobno može poistovjetiti i suosjećati.
Abstract (english)
The diploma thesis "Generation XY The Millenials" consists of research that assesses the generations and the issue of the individual in his time. In my thesis I examine the difference between the two generations X and Y, and what influenced them. In my work, I mention certain artists with whom I identify and who I singled out because of their specific motifs and themes, namely the human figure as a motif in the themes of everyday life. The displays of emotions, self-irony and humor in the art is meant to familiarize but also intrigue the viewer to re-examine the artwork itself, which brings us closer and introduces us to the artist. All together the work consists of thirty-two illustrative graphics. A visual experience that is created through the graphic technique of gravure printing, etching that allows clean, simple, straight lines that are pressed on a white background in black ink. This series of my artwork shows scenes of everyday life within generations x and y whereas a large majority can identify and sympathize. .
