Abstract	Diplomski rad proučava pojam i značajke informacijskog ratovanja i ulogu novih medija u njemu. Ukratko rečeno, informacijsko ratovanje jest bilo koja aktivnost usmjerena protiv znanja i sustava vrijednosti u svrhu propagande i obmanjivanja javnosti. Informacijske operacije planirana su djelovanja za prijenos odabranih informacija prema stanovništvu kako bi se utjecalo na njihove stavove i objektivno prosuđivanje te na vladu i organizacije te zemlje. Uloga novih medija u ovakvom je ratovanju od velikog značenja s obzirom da novi mediji imaju mogućnost kolanja informacija u vrlo kratkom roku do velikog broja ljudi. U današnjem društvu poimanje stvarnosti ovisi od njene predstave koju će javnost stvoriti na osnovu onoga što su im servirali mediji. S druge strane, zbog svojeg geostrateškog položaja, Republika Hrvatska prije nekoliko godina suočila se s jednom od najvećih migracijskih kriza u svojoj i europskoj novijoj povijesti. Stoga se u istraživačkom dijelu rada analizira prikaz migrantske krize na domaćim online portalima, upravo u kontekstu informacijskog ratovanja, kako bi kroz određene elemente spoznali razlike u izvještavanju između četiri portala.
Abstract (english)	The thesis examines the concept and features of information warfare and the role of new media in it. In short, information warfare is any activity directed against knowledge and value systems for the purpose of propaganda and misleading the public. Information operations are planned actions to transmit selected information to the population in order to influence their views and objective judgment and to the government and organizations of that country. The role of new media in this kind of warfare is of great importance given that new media have the ability to circulate information in the very short term to a large number of people. In today's society, the concept of reality depends on its image that the public will create based on what they have been served by the media. On the other hand, due to its geo-strategic position, the Republic of Croatia several years ago faced one of the largest migration crises in its recent European history. Therefore, the research section analyzes the portrayal of the migrant crisis on domestic online portals, precisely in the context of information warfare, in order to understand, through certain elements, differences in reporting between the four portals.
